When you click the summarize button, the text content of the current forum thread or video is sent directly to the Groq API (groq.com) to generate a summary. This text is used solely to produce the summary and is not stored by us.

The extension stores a daily usage count in your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local). This data never leaves your device and is used only to enforce the free tier limit of 2 summaries per day. It is reset automatically each day.
Payments for the Pro plan are handled entirely by ExtensionPay, which is powered by Stripe. We never see or store your payment details. Please refer to ExtensionPay's Privacy Policy and Stripe's Privacy Policy for details on how payment data is handled.
